ABOUT THE ROLE.
An initial 3-month full-time contract with on-going extensions. General welding and metal fabrication duties for Council assets. Previous Council experience is not mandatory.
DUTIES.
- Conduct fabrication and welding of metals for Council assets
- Thorough inspections and perform repairs as required
- Operation of a variety of fabrication equipment
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Strong experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Experience with Local Council (not mandatory but highly regarded)
- Experience working within a team (not only self-employed)
- Working knowledge of WHS procedures
REMUNERATION.
- Negotiable based on experience.
