ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Based in Metro Sydney, work for your Local Council as a WHS Officer. An amazing opportunity to take your first step into the Public Sector within an established team of WHS professionals.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Immediate start for an initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to apply for a permanent position. Your main matter of attention is to provide quality and service across the areas of risk management, insurance and work health and safety.
DUTIES.
- All general WHS duties
- Reviewal of safety programs/initiatives
- Monthly reporting to the WHS Committee
- Register/report incidents and take corrective actions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Previous experience in WHS with strong incident investigation skills
- Experience working in Local Council preferred
- A high level of task prioritisation and time management skills
- High level of maturity and communication skills
