As such, they are seeking to employ an ambitious WHS Site Advisor to maintain a safe workplace across their various projects across Sydney.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As the WHS Site Advisor, you will report directly to the Project Manager to advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will also assist in developing policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.
DUTIES.
- Maintain a safe workplace by identifying hazards and implementing control measures to reduce risks
- Weekly safety walks
- Weekly toolbox talks in collaboration with site managers
- Incident investigations and reporting of any LTIs, MTIs and notifiable instances
- Minimum Cert IV in OH&S/WHS
- Proven experience in a WHS site advisor role or similar
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Diligent with an analytical mind
