This opportunity is to join a medium size, Building Services engineering consultancy who have core values focused on quality and maintaining transparent and long-term relationships whilst embracing technology, and diversity. This position is suited to a Senior Fire Services Engineer who has good technical skills and can deliver projects with no supervision. You'll work alongside an experienced Fire Manager and will have the opportunity to handle your own projects autonomously and with support systems in place. There is also an internal and international team of Engineers and Revit/CAD Drafters to assist with design documentation. 

  • Consulting and coordinating with various project stakeholders/disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Architects and clients
  • Wet and dry Fire services design including hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, alarms and detectors etc
  • Ensuring client's requirements are met and designs are according to Australian standards
  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Manage clients and nurture business relationships
  • 7+ years of experience in the Australian Building Services engineering sector
  • Strong technical understanding of Fire services design/the NCCC
  • Experience mentoring or managing people is advantageous
  • Track record of successfully delivering small to medium-sized Building Services projects in Australia 
  • Ability to be a positive role model and to guide less experienced Engineers
  • Experience motivating and leading people will be considered favourably
