ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This Local Council in Western Sydney is looking for a driven Landscape Architect to join their team of 6. Join this positive and collaborative team environment who have a strong project focus on commercial landscaping projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Landscape Architect, you will commence employment on an initial 2 month contract and will be reporting to the Manager of Strategic Projects. You will provide landscape design and documentation services to assist with the delivery of streetscape, park, public domain and urban projects.

DUTIES.

• Community consultation and engagement
• Accurate documentation through AutoCAD
• Cost estimation and contract management
• Designing public open spaces and playgrounds

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 

• Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or related
• Strong commercial landscaping project experience
• Excellent technical understanding of design and construction
• Strong knowledge of Local Government legislation and policies
