Job Description

  • Work alongside a hard-working and strong technical team as an Asset Engineer

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Due to an increase in infrastructure/development projects, this team as apart of an Inner West Sydney Council require the assistance of an Asset Engineer to join their team. The role will be initially 2 months, however the opportunity will arise for a permanent role based on your preference.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As an Asset Engineer, you will be heavily involved in the success of this team in delivering public domain projects. You will work alongside 6 engineers who are all strong in their negotiation, communication and team collaboration skills.

DUTIES.

  • Assist the Senior Coordinator
  • Prepare conditions of consent for DA's
  • Provide technical/professional advice in relation to assets
  • Contribute in setting the standards for developer contributor civil assets

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering (or related)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong ability in leadership and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of local government and environmental legislation
