ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This collaborative team requires the assistance of an Asset Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. The role will be either to join the team immediately on a permanent basis or a 12 month contract, dependant on your preference.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As an Asset Maintenance Coordinator, you will be heavily involved in the success of this team through the development and review of the Asset Management System and the Water and Wastewater Asset Management Plans. You will play a vital role in providing advice on the condition, performance, risk, lifecycle cost and remaining life of various fixed plant (treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs, etc.) assets in order to improve asset investment decision making and achieve a sustainable improvements in business performance.

DUTIES.

  • Development of proactive maintenance and renewals schedules for water and wastewaster systems
  • Maintain the Water and Sewerage Asset Management Plan
  • Implement defect reporting and condition assessment
  • Drive improvements in asset management systems


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering (or related)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of local government and environmental legislation
