ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position is suited to a Senior Fire Services Engineer who has good technical skills and can deliver projects with no supervision. You'll work alongside an experienced Fire Manager in a 2IC position and will have the opportunity to run the Fire division and handle your own projects autonomously and with support systems in place.
DUTIES.
- Manage a team of engineers
- Lead stakeholder/client meetings
- Manage clients and nurture business relationships
- Mentor and train engineers
- Review design work and manage the QA process
- 7+ years of experience in the Australian Building Services engineering sector
- Strong technical understanding of Fire services design/Australian standards
- Experience mentoring or managing people is advantageous
- Track record of successfully delivering small to medium size Building Services projects
- Ability to be a positive role model and to guide less experienced Engineers
- Experience motivating and leading people will be considered favourably
