ABOUT THE COMPANY. 

This fantastic opportunity is to join a well established and expanding, multidisciplinary Building Services engineering consultancy located in Sydney. They have multiple offices throughout Australia and specialise in delivering diverse and challenging, medium to large-scale projects in NSW. The company is very well respected in the industry and is well known for securing iconic and tier-1 projects. 
 
ABOUT THE POSITION. 

This position is suited to a Mechanical Engineer who is looking for a new challenge and further career progression opportunities in an expanding team. Your position will involve everything from design, coordination, client meetings and site inspections during the construction phase. This position is suited to a person who has good technical skills, great communication skills and is comfortable dealing with key stakeholders. In this role, you will be provided with complete trust and autonomy to deliver your work unsupervised and you will have the opportunity to work your prefered hours to suit your personal and family lifestyle. 

DUTIES. 
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads using Camel
  • Mechanical services design and documentation
  • Pipe sizing and duct sizing calculations
  • Attend meetings and provide advice to stakeholders and clients
  • Coordination with Electrical, Hydraulic & Fire services
  • Site inspections during the construction phase
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. 
  • Around 3-8 years of experience in Building Services consulting (preferably in NSW market)
  • Good technical understanding of mechanical services and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Revit MEP experience is desirable, not essential 
  • Knowledge of the Building Services industry
  • Good communication and client management skills
  • Enthusiastic, personable, hardworking and honest
