ABOUT THE POSITION. 

This full time permanent position is seeking to engage a Senior Environmental Consultant that is confident to undertake contaminated land and hazardous building material assessments. You will be based in Melbourne and play a pivotal role in the success of the company, assisting with the growth and further development of the team and their projects through client liaising and business development. This position provides you the responsibility to manage and lead contaminated land projects, conducting investigations and lasing with clients and contractors. 

DUTIES.
  • Lead contaminated land projects / hazardous building material projects
  • Conduct Preliminary site investigations / Detailed site investigations 
  • Perform remedial action plans and Validation reports
  • Liaise with clients and contractors on a daily basis
  • Write detailed reports
  • Develop strong client relationships through business development & contribute to the ongoing growth of the team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.  
  • Engineering or Science Tertiary qualification or similar
  • Must have a strong background and technical understanding of the environmental sector - specifically CLM projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently and autonomously manage projects
  • Prior experience or an interest in business development is important
