ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This opportunity is to join a dynamic and client-focused, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy located in Sydney. They have been established for over 5 years and specialise in delivering various projects including mixed-use, government, hotel, retail, commercial and residential to name a few. The Directors have previously worked for leading, tier-1 engineering companies and are very well respected in the Australian Building Services industry. With a team consisting of over 30 employees and growing, they are now looking to add a new and important team member into the Hydraulic & Fire division.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position is suited to a person who has Hydraulic design and drafting experience in the Building Services sector and is looking for a long-term and stable career. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in delivering various small boutique projects, up to larger tier-1 projects and will have a lot of support from an experienced Hydraulic team consisting of 5 people.
DUTIES.
- Hydraulic services design and documentation in Revit MEP
- Assist with designing hot & cold water, recycled water, sanitary plumbing, sewerage, stormwater drainage, wastewater, natural and LP gas services etc
- Coordinate and produce 3D models using Revit MEP
- Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and within required time frames
- Liaise and coordinate with internal team members to deliver solutions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Over 3 years of experience in Hydraulic design & drafting
- Previous Revit experience is important - ability to operate software independently is preferred
- AutoCAD experience
- Hydraulic Services Diploma is preferred, not essential
- Understanding of Australian design standards and BCA
- Solution driven and enthusiastic about facing challenges
- Great communication skills will be considered favourably
