ABOUT THE POSITION. 

This position is suited to a Junior - Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer who is degree qualified and has previous experience using Revit MEP, working on Building Services projects. Your new position will be a combination of Revit modelling and Mechanical design according to Australian requirements. You will receive mentorship and support from an experienced Senior Engineer and will have the opportunity to accelerate your learning and career progression in the team. 
 
DUTIES. 
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads using camel
  • Designing HVAC systems for Building Services projects
  • Collaborate and liaise with key stakeholders 
  • Coordinate and produce 3D models using Revit MEP
  • Clash detection 
  • Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES. 
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
  • Over 2 years of experience in the Building Services industry (consulting or D&C Mechanical contractor)
  • Revit experience is essential (ability to operate the software independently with limited supervision)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Familiar with Australian design standards 
  • Great communication skills to effectively liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle 
  • Ability to work with limited supervision is advantageous
