A mid-sized Multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy that services the market across Australia & Hong Kong for the last 45 years & located South-East of the CBD. Having a respected client portfolio coupled with a reputation for quality designs, this Consultancy has solidified a healthy pipeline of projects, and as such, is looking to further build their team with a qualified Civil Design Engineer.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
 
As a Civil Design Engineer, this is your opportunity to be involved with the hands on design and project management of current civil developments. Your portfolio will consist mainly of stormwater drainage, pavements, flood modelling, WSUD and road design for large scale multi-storey building projects. In this position you will collaborate with an established team of Engineers whilst managing your own portfolio of projects and report directly to the Principal Civil Engineer. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Liaise with councils and key stakeholders
• Work alongside management to support project performance 
• Design using DRAINS, AutoCAD and 12D software
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections
• Apply your understanding of government standards, specifications and processes
• Manage and coordinate your own projects

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Excellent written communication skills 
• Proficient with AutoCAD & DRAINS
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Positive, can-do attitude towards professional development
• Display a previous successful portfolio: commercial, health, aged care or residential
