ABOUT THE POSITION.

Take the next step as an Occupational Therapist within this passionate and experienced multidisciplinary team. Work closely and collaboratively with children with various disabilities and disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families. Undertake assessments and carry out a range of play-based and relationship-based therapy services with them including DIR Floortime and Sensory Processing Theory.

DUTIES.
  • Manage your own caseload of younger children with various disabilities and delays
  • Partner with families to gather relevant personal information, current supports, and functional goals.
  • Recommend supports that provide children with experiences and opportunities that help them learn functional skills.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Previous experience with Paediatric caseloads.
  • AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check.
