ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this important role, you'll be responsible not only for design, though for liaising with all relevant stakeholders and for attending meetings. You'll have a team of Revit Modellers to produce documentation and will have support from Senior Designers and an experienced and hands-on Director.
DUTIES.
- Hydraulic services design including hot & cold water, recycled water, sanitary plumbing, sewerage, stormwater drainage, wastewater, natural and LP gas services etc
- Services coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Architect
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders during the design phase and attend meetings with clients
- Reporting and inspecting during the construction phase
- Support and mentor Junior Designers
- 4+ years of experience in Hydraulic design
- Completed a Hydraulic Services Diploma (preferred, not essential)
- Familiar with Revit is advantageous (not essential as they have an experienced modelling team)
- Familiar with Australian standards and the NCC
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills
- Plumbing trade background or engineering degree
- Ability to sign off on Fire drawings (desired, not essential)
