This opportunity is to join an expanding, medium-size engineering consultancy who have built long-lasting and collaborative relationships with their clients. The company has a strong project track record of delivering large scale developments worth over $1billion in value and have recently secured large-scale projects throughout both Sydney and Melbourne. They are a quality driven consultancy who offer employees secure and long-term employment growth. 
In this important role, you'll be responsible not only for design, though for liaising with all relevant stakeholders and for attending meetings. You'll have a team of Revit Modellers to produce documentation and will have support from Senior Designers and an experienced and hands-on Director. 
  • Hydraulic services design including hot & cold water, recycled water, sanitary plumbing, sewerage, stormwater drainage, wastewater, natural and LP gas services etc
  • Services coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Architect
  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders during the design phase and attend meetings with clients
  • Reporting and inspecting during the construction phase 
  • Support and mentor Junior Designers
  • 4+ years of experience in Hydraulic design 
  • Completed a Hydraulic Services Diploma (preferred, not essential) 
  • Familiar with Revit is advantageous (not essential as they have an experienced modelling team) 
  • Familiar with Australian standards and the NCC 
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills
  • Plumbing trade background or engineering degree
  • Ability to sign off on Fire drawings (desired, not essential)
