ABOUT THE COMPANY. 

This opportunity is to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 40 years of engineering experience in NSW. They're specialists in delivering quality projects including hospitals, aged care, education and hotels to name a few, and have a very secure project pipeline throughout 2020. 
 
ABOUT THE POSITION. 

Reporting to a Hydraulic Director, you'll be responsible for working alongside a team of Designers and for delivering various Building Services projects in NSW. This position is suited to a person who is happy to be hands-on with delivering/designing projects and is comfortable to interact with key stakeholders. 
 
DUTIES. 
  • Hydraulic services design including hot & cold water, recycled water, sanitary plumbing, sewerage, stormwater drainage, wastewater, natural and LP gas services
  • Assisting and supporting graduate employees 
  • Attend project meetings and site inspections when required 
  • Liaise with stakeholders from concept to construction phase
  • Services coordination with Mechanical, Electrical & Architect

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.  

  • Over 5 years of Hydraulic design experience 
  • Engineering degree or Hydraulic Services Diploma (desirable) 
  • Experience is providing design solutions that meet the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards Design experience across hospital or education projects is desirable 
  • A track record designing various Hydraulic services projects in Australia is essential 
  • Good communication skills to liaise with key stakeholders throughout the engineering life cycle
