ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A team within my Local Council strive for innovation, collaboration, and community sustainability. They are a polite team with a strong importance on developing and maintaining long term stakeholder relationships to facilitate the implementation of a series of projects, involving Local, State and Federal Governments; leveraging opportunities including commitments through the Western Sydney City Deal.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Focusing on urban employment lands, this role focus on the strategy development to guide the growth within Council as part of the Metropolitan Cluster for the Western City District. Projects including North South Rail.
- Strong Influential and negotiation skills with team, internal, external stakeholders and community engagement
Strong analytical, project management and organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and managecompeting tasks, meet deadlines and achieve targets
- Prepare briefing and Council reports
- Provide Assessment of proposals
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Tertiary qualification in Policy Development, Planning, Economics or a relevant discipline
Demonstrated extensive experience in the formulation and implementation of strategic and land- use planning policy
Proven experience in effectively leading multi-disciplinary project teams responsible for examining complex and diverseplanning issues
Setting high standards for their results, this medium sized team are highly proficient and driven, providing a highly exceptional standard and influential liaison to all consultation parts for the delivery partners.
