This opportunity is to join a well established building consultancy located in Sydney's CBD who provide a wide range of services including Section J, JV3, Nabers Energy Ratings, NatHERS Ratings, Energy Audits and more. The company partner with some of the most recognised Architects and Builders in Australia and have a very strong project pipeline available. 


This position will allow you to manage your own portfolio of clients and projects from start to finish across both commercial and residential markets. This role offers trust, autonomy and freedom to manage your own time. 

  • Assist the ESD Manager with delivering services within timeframes, cost, and quality
  • Review, assess and provide recommendations of various stages of developments including out of scope works, work on-site assessments and reporting
  • Provide quality assurance checks 
  • Assist in preparing fee proposals for all types of projects.
  • Identify where additional services could be of benefit to the project, discuss with the client and provide fee proposals for those additional services.
  • Manage your workflow and work output within client deadlines 
  • Manage existing clients and develop new clients  
  • Junior to Senior level candidates will both be considered 
  • Knowledge of Section J, BASIX, NatHERS, NABERS, Green Star etc 
  • Familiar with the NCC 2019 Section J to prepare DTS reports
  • Knowledge of the façade calculator and thermal bridging calculations
  • Preparation of performance solutions such as JV3 verification assessments using IES VE to simulate annual GHG emissions and PMV
  • Knowledge and experience with using modeling tools such as ApacheHVAC to simulate mechanical systems preferred.
  • Experience with conducting NABERS commitment agreements preferred
  • Commercial project experience is prefered
