ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This opportunity is to join an international fire engineering consultancy, who have multiple offices throughout Australia. They deliver diverse projects including hospitals, residential towers, stadiums, industrial buildings and many more. The company has a strong presence in the NSW market and have maintained healthy relationships with key clients, leading to the majority of their work coming from repeat business.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
The successful person will report to a Senior Engineer in Newcastle and will be trained in Fire Engineering. You will be offered 1:1 coaching and support, and as you build on your technical skills, you will become more involved with managing your own clients and projects autonomously.

DUTIES.
- Develop alternative solutions and performance-based solutions
- CFD modelling using Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS)
- Preparation of Fire Engineering Reports and Briefs
- Liaise with Fire Brigades Authorities
- Prepare Fire Safety Audits
- Manage a workload of multiple projects
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (i.e Mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc)
- Completed, studying or willing to undertake a Masters or Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering is preferred
- CFD modelling experience is advantageous
- Clear and concise written communication skills
- A high level of motivation, energy and enthusiasm towards engineering and learning
