ABOUT THE COMPANY.

This is your opportunity to join a growing Tier-1 engineering consultancy to manage and lead projects. With an extensive project portfolio showcasing diverse educational, residential, industrial, healthcare and commercial developments, this consultancy has build strong relationships with it's Clients, and is looking to engage an experienced Structural Engineer to further build on their Wollongong presence.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Structural Engineer, this is your opportunity to play your part in the delivery of iconic structural developments across NSW. Your portfolio will consist of residential, commercial, health, retail and education buildings up to 30 storeys high and are valued at the multi-million dollar mark. You'll be required to draw upon your extensive experience in the industry to manage the design and liaise with clients, builders and architects. 

DUTIES.
  • Manage structural design using Microstran, Inducta, Strand7 & RAPT software
  • Daily liaising with clients, councils and architects regularly
  • Attend & conduct site inspections
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff when needed
  • See the entire project through from concept phase through to construction
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.   
  • Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years domestic Structural Engineering experience 
  • Experience working on multistorey & high-rise residential & commercial projects
  • Proficient with RAPT, Inducta, Strand7 and other related software
  • Strong communication and business skills are essential
