ABOUT THE POSITION.

This private hospital in North Melbourne are seeking a Theatre Floor Coordinator to join their team. Your focus will be to coordinate all on shift operations and to lead a multidisciplinary team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Registered Nurse with prior coordination experience to take the next step towards their management aspirations.

 

DUTIES.

  • Coordinate all on shift operations of theatres
  • Lead a team of Clinical Nurses
  • Consult with physicians and surgeons
  • Maintain current best practice standards and professional awareness
  • Provide high level customer service to all patients through strong communication.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Theatres
  • Previous experience in coordination or management desirable
  • Post Grad Cert in Perioperative Nursing desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Full AHPRA registration & Current National Police Check
