ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join a local council as a Contracts Administrator. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, Work From Home days, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Contracts Administrator on a 6-month contract, you'll help project managers with procurement tasks. This includes inviting and evaluating proposals for various projects like capital works, playgrounds, park upgrades, buildings, and stormwater. You'll also handle queries, edit contracts using standard templates, and review insurance and other approvals before projects start.

DUTIES.
- Manage contract documentation and assist with reporting milestones
- Receive, register and allocate extension of time, requests, progress claims, invoices and variations from contractors
- Participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings
- Provide regular updates to contractors
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or relevant qualifications
- Prior exposure working in the construction industry is essential
- Technical understanding of contraction contracts and management
- Time management and great communication skills, to communicate, resolve issues and negotiate
