ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our client is a Professional Quantity Surveying firm that holds an impeccable reputation in the industry. They have a stellar portfolio of large scale projects in multiple sectors, such as Education, Health, Residencial, Infrastructure and Commercial sectors. Their Brisbane office is undergoing a growth stage and are seeking to employ an ambitious Quantity Surveyor that will join their enthusiastic team and work closely on their current and upcoming projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible to carry out both Post and Pre Contract work. You will be well be working alongside experienced Cost Managers and receive guidance and mentorship from industry experts. Due to a growing project pipeline, you will be given the opportunity to build your skillset and project portfolio in the sectors of Education, Health, Residencial, Infrastructure and Commercial sectors.
DUTIES.
- Responsible for progress claims
- Manage bills of quantities (BOQ)
- Facilitate bank draw down reports
- Pre-Tender Estimates
- Manage Variations & Cost Reports
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years Professional Quantity Surveying in Australia
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
