ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all documentation processes related to civil construction projects. This role demands a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and experience with Xero software to manage financial records.

DUTIES.
  • Organise, store, and retrieve project documents, ensuring all records are properly categorised and easily accessible.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that all documentation aligns with project requirements and timelines.
  • Prepare and distribute documentation to relevant stakeholders, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Use Xero software to track and manage project-related financial documents, including invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Conduct regular audits of document control processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure best practices are followed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within the civil construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Xero software, particularly in managing financial documents and records.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in documentation.
