ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Working for a Council based in Sydney, you will be a part of the Environmental Services Team on an initial 6 month contract. No previous Council experience required.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In a initial 6 month contract you will provide expert ecological advice on development assessment proposals concerning endangered ecological communities and critically endangered communities and other relevant ecological and biodiversity matters.

DUTIES.
- Assess DAs to ensure they met requirements of regulations
- Provide advice on Ecological Impact Assessment reports
- Carry out site inspections
- Report writing
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- A degree in Ecology/Environmental management or a related field
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
