As a Senior Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their team, providing expert guidance and leadership in the design, implementation, and evaluation of fire protection systems. You will collaborate closely with architects, builders, and other engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimal safety measures in various projects across Sydney.

  • Lead the design and analysis of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, suppression systems, and smoke control systems
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive fire safety strategies for buildings and facilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to address concerns and facilitate approvals
  • Lead and manage your own team in the Fire discipline 
  • Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering in Building Services, with a focus on designing and implementing fire safety systems
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform complex calculations and simulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) certification preferred 
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and FDS is a plus
