ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join your local council as a Junior Project Manager. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role. This position sits within Civil Operations, where projects range from $50k to $5M.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Junior Project Manager, you will liaise with contractors, to assist in the delivery of brownfield projects including but not limited to road, civil, stormwater, and drainage. This includes design review, procurement, construction issues, financial reporting, program updating, project and program administrations, preparation of grant applications and grant administration as required.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Junior Project Manager, you will liaise with contractors, to assist in the delivery of brownfield projects including but not limited to road, civil, stormwater, and drainage. DUTIES.
- Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders in the delivery of projects
- Manage time, cost and quality according to Council's policies, guidelines and legislation
- Carry technical investigations and present reports to Project Managers
- Ensure capital works projects are delivered within allocated time
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering
- Significant exposure in the delivery of infrastructure projects including roads, footpaths etc.
- Software proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera 6
- Interpersonal skills are required to manage relationships of all Stakeholders

- Competitive hourly rates ranging between $65 - $70 per hour + Super
- Initial 6 month contract with opportunity for additional 12 month extension
