ABOUT THE COMPANY.
A Local Council based in Sydney's south, looking for a Payroll Officer to assist with the general day-to-day operation of the team's payroll function.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
Immediate start, 6-month full-time contract. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the role will see you working to ensure the accurate, timely processing of weekly pay-runs. In addition, you will assist with any internal employee queries and the processing of payroll tax.

- Process weekly pay-runs
- Assist with employee enquiries
- Assist team with any payroll or compensation matters
- Process payroll tax and complete reconciliations
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar payroll processing position
- Strong proficiency with an advanced payroll system and Microsoft Excel
- High level of attention to detail and sound problem solving skills
