ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are seeking a visionary Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead and mentor a talented team of Junior Engineers, primarily focused on pioneering residential projects. In this influential role, you will not only spearhead innovative initiatives but also guide the strategic expansion of the department into diverse, high-impact sectors. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping operational and business decisions that define the future of your team.

DUTIES.
  • Maintain and build business relationships and liaise with key stakeholders
  • Mentor and guide Junior Geotechnical Engineers
  • Manage a project from inception to completion providing advice throughout
  • Produce Geotechnical Interpretive report writing and review designs
  • Coordinate and oversee geotechnical site inspections and investigations
  • Prepare proposals and produce assessments
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Proven local experience in leading a team within a consultancy
  • Software proficient with Plaxis, Wallap, gINT & Slope/W
  • Strong business acumen
  • Full Drivers License
  • Experience working on residential projects
