ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Local Government office based in Sydney's West seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team on a temporary contract. You'll become part of a collaborative team environment and work with a management team that is passionate about the progression of all employees.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
ASAP start, 6-month full-time contract. Reporting to the Procurement Manager you'll be working alongside five other staff members, each specialising in their own sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE.

DUTIES.
- Assist in the development of RFTs, RFQs and EOIs.
- Review contracts for the engagement of suppliers.
- Recommend improvements for current processes or customer service.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and tendering guidelines.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, Diploma of Government Procurement and Contracting
- Proven experience in the management of Tendering, RFQs, EOIs and Selective Tendering
- High level of autonomy and advanced problem solving skills
- Prior Local Government experience preferable
