ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join your local council as a Project Engineer. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, Work From Home days, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Engineer you will liaise with Project Managers and contractors, to assist in the delivery of brownfield projects including but not limited to road, civil, stormwater, recreation, and open space. This includes design review, procurement, construction issues, financial reporting, program updating, project and program administrations, preparation of grant applications and grant administration as required. Projects range between $200K to $10M in revenue.

DUTIES.
- Liaise with internal and external Stakeholders in the delivery of projects
- Manage time, cost and quality according to Council's policies, guidelines and legislation
- Carry technical investigations and present reports to Project Managers
- Ensure capital works projects are delivered within allocated time
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering
- Significant exposure in the delivery of infrastructure projects including roads, open spaces, footpaths etc.
- Software proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite and Primavera 6
- Interpersonal skills are required to manage relationships of all Stakeholders
