ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering civil projects, focusing on subdivisions, earthworks, and roadworks. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure all technical aspects are executed to the highest standard, while managing the day-to-day operations of the project.
DUTIES.
- Coordinate and manage all technical aspects of civil projects, focusing on subdivisions, roadworks, and earthworks.
- Assist the Project Manager with planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project plans.
- Prepare project reports, update schedules, and track progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- A strong background in civil engineering, with experience in subdivisions, earthworks, and roadworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle technical challenges on-site.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and clients.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools is advantageous.
