ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Join a local council as a Project Officer. Local Government offers 35 hours per week and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Officer, in a initial 2 month contract you will deliver Councils capital works projects, liaise with contractors and manage site works including inviting and evaluating proposals for projects including, but not limited to roads, footpaths, kerb, gutter and stormwater.

DUTIES.
- Deliver Councils construction and maintenance projects
- Prepare documentation for project plans, quotes and cost estimates
- Manage all contractors to assist in the delivery of all projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management or relevant qualifications
- Prior experience with delivering civil projects
- Great verbal communication skills and articulates well
