ABOUT THE COMPANY
Join a team of industry professional in a Western Sydney Local Council as a Project Officer. Initial 6 months contract, 35 hours per week with flexible working arrangements including working from home, flexible start, and finish times, and on-going training and development provided. This council is looking for a highly motivated Project Officer to be a part of their growing team.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Project Officer, you will provide professional and technical support for the Council's capital works program. This includes working with internal and external stakeholders, managing project delivery from start to finish, and overseeing construction, contracts, and administration to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

ABOUT THE POSITION

DUTIES
- Procure contracts and consultants within budget and timeframe
- Develop project briefs, specifications and tender documents
- Prepare scope of works throughout project lifecycle
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or project management qualifications is required
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Prior experience in managing projects and stakeholders
- Experience with delivering complex civil projects
