ABOUT THE COMPANY.
 
This local Council is located in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales. They are actively looking for a motivated Ranger to play a pivotal part in their team. During this 6 month contract, you will report to the Team Leader. This role offers the chance to showcase your professionalism and commitment by maintaining a positive Council image through efficient and courteous practices.
 
 
ABOUT THE POSITION.
 
As a Ranger, you will proactively engage in the key business functions related to parking patrols, animal control, stock control, local law enforcement and general ranger duties within the Local Government Area. The position may also be responsible for duties relating to environmental protection and planning compliance when required. This is the perfect opportunity to advance your career in this field of work within the Public Sector and be surrounded by a supportive team.
 
 
DUTIES.
  • Investigate complaints and issue infringements
  • Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
  • Report other non-related parking matters to Council including animal control, stock control duties, etc
  • Provide general advice and communicate with the public
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Local Government Act
  • A Class C Driver's Licence is required
  • Previous experience working as a Ranger or in a law enforcement role
  • Previous experience in animal control and the management of an animal shelter
