ABOUT THE POSITION.

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forensic Engineer to join their dynamic team in Sydney CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and analyzing engineering failures, providing detailed reports, and offering expert testimony when required. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects.


DUTIES.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of structural failures, accidents, and engineering issues
  • Analyze evidence, materials, and data to determine the cause of failures
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Provide expert testimony in legal and insurance matters
  • Collaborate with clients, legal professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in forensic engineering

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Forensic Engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CAD, finite element analysis)
