ABOUT THE COMPANY.  

This company is one which is well established within their respected industries and has been experiencing a strong growth pattern over the past 10 years. Specialising in remedial, structural and civil engineering, they have a very strong client base within the industrial, commercial, healthcare and aged care sector. 

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Remedial Engineer, you will conduct site inspections, manage report writing and the scope of work for various industrial, commercial, healthcare and aged care buildings across Sydney. An understanding of analysing defects, forensic investigations and minor involvement in expert witness will be advantageous for this role. Ideally you'll be ready and confident to manage projects autonomously, but will have support from other Engineers in the team.

DUTIES.
  • Perform forensic investigations and structural assessments
  • Prepare conditional and engineering reports
  • Supervise remedial works
  • Client liaison and communication on a regular basis
  • Individual project management of your portfolio of projects
  • Design various timber, concrete and masonry structures when needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Must have a relevant engineering degree (essential)
  • Prior experience with Remedial / Forensic Engineering is essential
  • Must be confident to manage and deliver projects autonomously 
  • Display previous successful project delivery on industrial and commercial projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD, RC Building, SLABS and other related software is favourable not essential
