Having an already well established relationship with several high profile repeat clients and a pipeline of work commencing, this company is seeking to employ a driven Site Safety Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in the ACT.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a Site Safety Officer you will help to advocate safe work practices. You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will also develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.

DUTIES.
- Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
- Experience in reporting and developing policies
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Diligent with an analytical mind
