ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Located in the Northern Rivers of NSW, this Regional Council is on the hunt to find a professional A1/A2 Accredited Senior Building Surveyor to help their team with the delivery of numerous projects for all classes of buildings. 


ABOUT THE POSITION.
   
Initially, a 6 month contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position, reporting to the Coordinator of Building Services. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various government bodies and communicate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.


DUTIES.
  • Conduct site and building inspections 
  • Assess Development Applications
  • Issue certificates related to building work for all classes of buildings
  • Provide written referrals and stakeholder consultation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Registration with NSW Fair Trading as an A1/A2 Accredited Building Surveyor
  • Qualifications in Building Surveying (or related)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in building surveying
