ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position is for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with demonstrated experience in site-related work, design and strong skills in liaising with contractors and clients. The role includes training and supporting junior staff, as well as driving business development with both existing and new clients.
DUTIES.
- Develop comprehensive geotechnical designs, assessments, and analyses.
- Offer expert insight and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and conduct site visits, investigations, and geotechnical testing.
- Prepare tenders and proposals, actively contributing to business development efforts.
- Train, mentor, and guide Junior Geotechnical Engineers, fostering their professional growth.
- Proficient in software applications such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, WALLAP, and CIRCLY (preferred).
- Possess relevant degree qualifications in geotechnical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects within the local context.
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s license.
