Reporting to the Principal Major Projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of key capital infrastructure projects within the Infrastructure and Operations portfolio. Our client seeks an accountable Senior Project Engineer to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with Council’s Project Management Framework (PMF), and Corporate and Operational Governance throughout the entire process.



  • Demonstrate WH&S compliance
  • Efficient communication with Project Manager for clear deadlines and plans
  • Oversee entire process of initiation, planning, delivery, and handover phase
  • Ensure construction is in alignment with design
  • Coordination of daily activity allocation and resource planning
  • Identifying project risk and resolve on-site issues throughout process



  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related qualification
  • Unrestricted Queensland “C” Class License
  • Capacity to obtain Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM)
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in public utilities capital infrastructure projects
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills in stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated organisational skills to meet deadlines, with the ability to work autonomously
