Local Council based in Oran Park. Join an established team of 5, reporting to the WHS Coordinator. This role will see you working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across Council with a particular emphasis on construction and major projects.

DUTIES.
- Hands on support implementing and delivering the WHS Management System and strategies
- Partner with Managers from all work areas including Council's Works Depots, constructions sits and major project sites
- Assist with safety audits and investigations
- Monitor, measure and report on safety performance
- Act as an ex-officio Advisor for the WHS Committee
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or relevant
- Construction industry experience & a white card
- Experience in implementing safety systems in an operation/trade environment
- Understanding of NSW WHS Act & Heavy Vehicle National Law
