ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Structural Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing new structures while liaising with the wider team of engineers and drafters to ensure compliance with industry standards.
DUTIES.
- Structural design and calculations
- Conducting site inspections to determine suitability
- Detailed documentation, design and analysis of various elements such as reinforced and post tension concrete, steel and timber
- Monitoring budgets to ensure project costs stay within range
- Collaborate with the internal engineering and drafting teams
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in software of RAPT, ETABS, SpaceGass and RAM CONCEPT
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Commercial and residential project experience
- Class 2 buildings experience is advantageous
