This national & award-winning construction company is well regarded and respected in the building industry for delivering high-end Commercial New Build projects valued up from $10M to $50M. Having a well-established relationship with several high profile repeat clients, this company has secured a number of exciting projects. As such, they are seeking to employ a driven WHS Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in their Sydney NSW division.
ABOUT THE ROLE.
As a WHS Advisor, you will report to the Safety Manager and will oversee site operations across a number of projects to advocate safe work practice . You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities. You will also assist in developing policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness. Immediate start date!

DUTIES.
- Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Proven experience as safety officer or similar is advantageous
- Excellent communication and advisory skills
- Diligent with an analytical mind
- Cert 4 in WHS / Safety is essential
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a safety role
