ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our client, a Local Council located South of Sydney CBD, is currently seeking a Principal Planner to assist them with complex residential development applications. In addition, there will be an opportunity for you to step into a Coordinator role for a 2-month period to manage the team during the Coordinator's absence.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Reporting to the Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating Council reports to planning panels, assess and report on major DA's and act as an expert witness in the Land and Environment Court if required. You will also play a crucial role in assisting other more junior planners and staff.

- Providing written and verbal advice to stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree qualifications in Town Planning or related
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
