ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This Local Council is located in the South-West of Sydney. In this team of 7 employees, you will play an pivotal role in assisting with educating the community and assisting Council in the development and execution of their waste education strategy.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role you will develop, implement and evaluate education projects for domestic waste and resource recovery including areas of illegal dumping and littering. You will also continue the ongoing management of existing programs and future projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role you will develop, implement and evaluate education projects for domestic waste and resource recovery including areas of illegal dumping and littering. You will also continue the ongoing management of existing programs and future projects.
DUTIES.
- Develop, implement and evaluate education and promotion projects for domestic waste and resource recovery
- Liaise with the section’s contractors on the preparation, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of Council’s recycling education and promotional programs
- Improve resident awareness and participation in associated resource recovery and sustainability issues
- Organise and deliver resource recovery education related schools program, workshops, events and functions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Education, Natural Resource Management or a related field
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, problem solving and evaluation skills
- Demonstrated experience in Local Councils is preferred
